Greed.
Simple greed is the root of all of the recent disasters facing this amazing country. The sustainability of our planet should be a common goal for all governments to recognize and protect with all reasonable oversights. As the Gulf Oil Spill continues, politicians cling to their partisan views while the clock is ticking away. Where is the national will to change from a society of full time consumers to a nation ready to face the truth? Where is the urgency to begin the process of converting to clean energy -- to provide new jobs for an industry in upheaval?Read more » -

My blu ray disc arrived in the mailbox today and I'm watching now as I type... it's the most special evening -- so warm and beautiful. I could go on and on... but, the lady is singing, "Where Do You Start"... sighs.....

I'm not going to comment on the Kramer vs. Barbra stuff. I am going to "The Normal Heart " on May 19th in New York !!
Quite excited to see this play after so many years of the film percolating as a possible film directed by Miss Streisand. I was happy to notice that Barbra hasn't closed the door on playing Dr. Emma Brookner in the Ryan Murphy film. Now, that would be a very sweet professional outcome !!
