As a kid, I always remembered this speech.. it was powerful and moving and I've quoted it many times to people since then.

I was wondering- this transcript says it's the "Short version"- is there a full version? I always have an ongoing discussion with a friend about a quote- something along the lines of "it's great that there is a year of the woman but it would be better if there didn't need to be". Just wondering if anyone could shed some light on this? (Friend believes it was said by Jodie Foster)
