I'm a fan because Barbra's voice and music have touched me deeply since the very first time I heard her sing. For me that was in the 70's.
Back then I didn't understand why, but instinctively I knew I needed to hear and know more about this great artist. Many years later and growing up I learned that it could be only one thing: being and staying close to yourself as this brings out the truth; what is real and genuine. This is what makes her voice so very special and unique; it represents life.
Only a few artists are (or have been) capable of doing so and I truly hope more people will start to learn and listen to her music and appreciate her outstanding achievements and great personality. You can imagine what a thrill it was for me when I finally had the opportunity to see Barbra performing live in Paris during her European tour in 2007.
