I am so glad for the fans in Europe. So many times they have expressed the desire to have a concert close to home. Barbra's heart is sooooooo big that she wants to share it around the world.
I just got my tickets. I can't wait. I know Barbra has waited a long time for this honor. I am blessed to be a part of this wonderful occassion.

I'm a fan (and you should be too) because...Love. Love is the answer. Not because it is the tiltle of one of Barbra's CDs, but it is the answer to the question at hand. She has opened her heart tremendously to the world. I have always enjoyed her over the years but it was her 2011 Grammy performance that got me hooked. Three days after the Grammys, my nephew was killed. I asked myself, where is the love? Her music has help me in so many ways. For God is love. She puts love in everything she does. Gospel music is my first music of choice. After listening to Barbra's commentary on "A Star is Born", I am still waiting for that gospel piano to be released.

I had the honor of being at the Galla. It was a wonderful experience to see Barbra humbly accept the award. She looked great and her speech was very well spoken. It is always nice when one so deserving as Barbra receives her flowers while she is still here.The tributes were also very entertaining. The original seats that I had purchased were so good that they gave them to Barbra. I was told that I had to move because of an obstructed view. We sat on the opposite side of Barbra in the odd number box seats. We still had grest seats. It was a night that I will always remember.
