Sadly neither Democrats or Republicans are proposing any financial reform of significance. Both parties are "on the take" so to speak. True reform will arrive only when enough citizens feel enough "pain" to begin paying attention to how our financial, political, corporate (including the media) and military leaders are not really serving the "greater good." The sad thing is that this corruption is not necessarily a conscious act by leaders, or a conscious condoning by citizens. We're asleep, and I hope the "alarm" that wakes us does not have to be too painful...Read more »

Again, neither party will propose what is best for the people because there is too much "excess" costs in the health care system that provides the levels of income/profit that the insurers, pharmaceuticals, doctors, lawyers, care providers, law enforcement, etc. all want/need. Our system thrives on not being efficient, and too many hands being held out between those in need of care and those providing care. Insurance and paharmaceutical companies exist to make profits for their shareholders, period.Read more »
