That 29th of September I was really far from NY, in San Sebastian, my hometown, so now the BluRay will not be the same as if I was there, but it will make me feel a little more inside the Village Vanguard.
I love jazz, San Sebastian has a splendid Jazz Festival (and Film Festival too), I've always dreamed of attending an 'unplugged' performance of Barbra in our Festival, just like people such as Diana Krall, James Taylor, Ella Fitzgerald or Liza Minnelli -among many others- did years before

This is *the Album* for Broadway lovers as well as newbies. In 1985 I knew very little about American music, and when I bought it I felt a bit disappointed because I expected another "Barbra" album. It happened because I still hand't had the chance to know her albums from the 60's, because many of them were "Broadway" albums in fact.
This album made me *love* the music from Broadway and after listening to it time and again, it became one of my very favourite records.
From this album I love, most of all, Can't help lovin' that man and If I loved you. They move me. A must for every fan.

Re: "Barbra To Present Award At This Year's Academy Awards"
Well, I am one showing real devotion to Oscars evening, as here in Spain we watch them at 2 a.m. When the show finishes, then I go directly to work (take it like an Oscar party, *LOL*). Knowing Barbra will be there (and hopefully giving the Best Director award to a woman), I won't need any extra coffee to keep awaken all night long
