I'm a fan (and you should be too) because...

from Barbra Streisand's music I have learned that music doesn't just communicate with people but it communicates with souls. Barbra Streisand's meaningful songs and superb voice reached my soul when nothing else could and got me through the most difficult part of my life so far. Now, if ever I feel sad or defeated I know I have Barbra's music and wisdom to get me through.
There are also lots of songs I like purely because they are great, especially when sung by Barbra.
From Barbra's wonderfully talented acting and directing I have learned anything is possible if you believe in yourself - even if no-one else does. I was told that because I was from a poor background, I would never be able to go to university or be successful in life. Barbra gave me belief in myself when no-one else would believe in me - I went to university and I graduated.
Barbra is a truly gifted and talented woman, who I believe is a gift to us all.
Why would anyone not be a fan?
