What a disappointment is this new album.
Normally I look so forward to Streisands work but in this case I feel let down.
The songs are depressing and like dirges.
The musicians / producer are going in one direction and she is going in another.
It seems to me that Barbra is trying to keep us in the past. These songs, similar to those she sang in the 60's sound like a different performer as her voice has changed. She sounds as if she is singing without any effort and I think that this may be a sign of laziness - where is the 'tour de force' we know so well?Read more »
