    Congratulations on this amazing achievement and thanks for bringing such joy to the way we are, today! You are now the voice that spanned two centuries and, of course, you will be cherished, studied and revered beyond our present times.

    So interesting to go looking for the secret to Ms. Streisand's singing. The secret, I say, is in the soul. And it is very clear what this soul is about! Determination, pushing aside barriers, jumping over barriers, living, reaching, soaring, flying......singing.

    I do hope she had an enjoyable evening. Wish I could have been there. Glad we are in the world together.

    Congratulations to the winners! What a cute photo. And rotten raspberries to the losers...that would be anyone who complains the contest is "rigged" or "unfair". There were at least five ways to win a ticket to the Vanguard for this culturally historic occasion. Some involved skill (the pixel puzzle), some involved the luck of the draw and one involved the very subjective selection of a cute pet photo. I think the photo of my pet was cute, too. Killer cute. But someone else --perhaps someone very important!-- thought differently.Read more »
