I just bought the Village Vanguard recording and I have to say that I think it is the best thing you have done. Small clubs with small back-up groups has always been my favorite kind of performance (I have seen Mel Torme, Tony Bennett, and others in such a venue) and I am so happy that you finally made a live club recording. I have just finished listening to it for the first time and it is absolutely great.
