Why would someone betray a longtime friend? Is Hollywood really so shallow? What does he get out of these so called revelations, which are probably not to be trusted anyway?

It is a pity that someone who has enjoyed so much trust, love and privileges, betrays the other person who has made him big! I am glad to see that Barbra is in godd hands now - by the look of it - Mr. Brolin is head over heals in love and going strong after so many years. I wish them both - Barbra and James - a long and beautiful life together.

In an interview that Barbara Walters did in 1976 he actually admits to being a hustler and riding on her coat tails. You would think with age and wisdom he would see that without Mrs. Brolin he would be no where. Granted he did produce some incredible movies but he needs to sit back and look at where it started and ask himself is it really worth hanging his laundry out for everyone to hear.

I think it is unfortunate that Jon Peters shared several years of his life with Barbra, in which he enjoyed status, knowledge, contacts and power, he otherwise may have had no access to, only to trash the person that gave him such assets. Why there is such a need to distort the turth about Barbra is bewildering. Thank God, Barbra you continue to evolve as a person and have learned to keep your spirituality balanced at the core of your being. I'm sorry someone you invested so much of yourself with has chosen to betray you - thank God he no longer consumes your energy.
