Thoughts please on Duck Sauce Barbra Streisand song?!!!
Hi Everyone!
Whilst my son was on you tube earlier he alerted me to the above song in which the only lyrics feature the lovely lady's name (and that's it!) - apparently it's big at dance festivals etc, not really similar to Barbra's unique music at all! I just think it's a bit odd, what d'ya reckon?

Hello! I too really wanted to know what fans thought about this song! And what Miss Streisand thinks too! I personnally (being a fan since I was 8 and am 49 now) take it as a special tribute to the monument Barbra is. And I find the song totally jubilatory'!!! I've read it is a hit in US clubs. My husband got the DJ in the club we go to (in France) to play it two nights ago and I was the only person to dance on it. I was over the moon!!! But stay tuned for it is going to become something over here!! I will do all I can to make sure it does. Great song also!!!
I loved it! It was a big surprise for me being an admirer of Armand van Helden songs; I was just searching the video of one of his club songs of years ago and I found it... At the beginning I thought it was a sort of "fake" thing, then I understood it was real.

Personally... I really don't like it. I think it is kinda offensive to her talent ans everything. No offense if you like it. Its just my opinion. I just think shes worth more credit that that. Im 13
Its pretty cool. I dont find it offensive at all. When a celebrity of Barbra's stature has her name as the only lyric in a dance song, that totally awesome. I wonder how they came up with Barbra's name. It is really popular in the gay clubs. That may have something to do with it....
I consider it a lil bit offensive too....I would want to know what are others fans of Barbra Streisand are thinking about it too . I don't like it but anyway... maybe is because when you see Barbra Streisand you expect to a vey deep and soft song and this is just a club song...no offense but I don't really enjoy club music..

I've watched the clip a few times...good editing, sound, camera, etc...such an eclectic mix of people of diff size, color, shapes, ages whispering "Barbra Streisand"..very alive ...my favorite is the impersonator at the beginning in Ctrl Park and then the guy singing through thh synthethizer...
