I've Dreamed Of You
I am getting married in October and would very much like my wedding singer to sing "I've Dreamed Of You" at the start of my wedding; it truly captures the love story between me and my soon-to-be husband. Is it available on vocal track? I do have it on single CD and she bought the MP3 on ITunes, either of which we could use in a karaoke machine...but a vocal track would be better.

I think my first answer got lost in cyber-space...but what do you mean, exactly, by vocal track ? Maybe I'm showing my musical ignorance...the way I see it, you can buy the sheet music and have the singer be accompanied by a pianist or even a violinist. Another way would be to use Karaoke where the original vocal is blocked out and the singer can just use the background orchestration. I'm also certain there MUST be a way to mute Barbra'a mesmerizing vocals from the CD itself, and use the actual original arrangement but with your friend doing the singing. Whatever you decide, have a wonderful wedding, and best wishes for a happy marriage !

That is such a beautiful song. When I was single, I used to play it on my way home at night and cry like a baby. No kidding. So glad she sang it in Timeless. As a matter of fact, I love the first four songs on the A Love Like Ours album: I've Dreamed of You, Isn't It a Pity, The Island, and Love Like Ours. Think I wore those tracks out.
Congratulations! Wish you well.
Love,
