My name is Vivian Middleton. I am the Media Specialist for Sam Watkins Live. Sam is a 34yr old singer/songwriter in Austin,Tx. He started his organization "FIND THE MISSING", four year ago after his daughter became one of the missing. Although his story had a happy ending and his daughter was found, Sam chose to devote his time and efforts to helping those who were and are living the same nightmare. His mission is to help other family members in finding their missing children and loved ones. He also has educational tools to help protect individuals from becoming victims of abduction and other horrific crimes against them. Sam gives his time to writing songs for the families who have a loved one missing or has already lost that child. He is one of the most devoted and inspiring individuals that I have had the pleasure of working with. When I brought up your name as a person who had the ability to bring National Attention to this ever growing epidemic, I was told that I was CRAZY to think that I could get you to speak on this issue. However, I remember you saying "Every human being has the right to speak what they feel". So, here I am, asking you to lend your voice in this most important mission. I was inspired by the song you wrote for our Men and Woman fighting for our Country. Which is what drove me to what many are calling INSANE! That's OK, I can handle the critisism. I am asking you to please consider helping us in our mission to help those who can NO LONGER help themselves. My involvement in this mission is to bring voices to this mission that will be heard. I can think of NO OTHER person who has a stronger voice than you! And people LISTEN, when you speak!. I only ask that you consider this mission and help me to reach people across this Nation to recognize this for what it is, An ever growing epidemic that takes 800,000 of our children every year. And that is just a rough estimate. This includes those who are subjected to "Human Trafficking".Anyway that you can think of that you can help me in this mission, please, do so. I have called some as they relate to our mission. Yet, I have gotten no where. I have written letter's to our elected representatives, still nothing. Sam has been before Congress, still nothing. I personally have more faith in your idea's and your Voice on this matter than anyone else. That is why I have challenged myself to not be afraid to reach out to you. On a personal note, I would like to thank you for the years of laughter, tears, and wonderful memories of all your performances whether movie or song. People call you a LEGEND, I call you Barbra!
