My instincts told me to write to you for your help in ensuring that my voice is heard. I have applied for the job of Head Blogger for the forthcoming Alicia Keys website "I Am A Superwoman" and am doing all that I am inspired to do in ensuring that her desire to have a significant effect on women around the world is done justice.

I am passionate about the idea that we cannot continue to do the same thing and use the same solutions in effecting a different result. While the temptation in a project as potentially impacting as Alicia's may be to simply boost morale and create yet more distractions for ourselves, I really feel that 'her calling' to do this goes deeper than that. I hope it does. The only effective change in the life of any woman (or man for that matter) must eminate from within them. This is where I come in. I have spent many years researching and being my own subject in identifying who I really am and have come to some clear, life enhancing conclusions. The role and impact of our thoughts, the idea of where control really lies and the goal of being a congruent person (where our thoughts, feelings and actions are all in harmony) are critical to any attempt to make substantial changes to anyone.
