I've often wondered WHO would play BARBRA if there was ever a bio-pic. That's the only way I can imagine her beautiful songs of 40-plus years being put to the best possible use. Of course, I'd like to hear more of her recorded songs used in films, as background, perhaps, to a lovely, romantic scene, but since the woman herself IS a producer and songwriter, it would be wonderful if someone making a film could recognize this and ask her "Would you write some music for this movie? " Much like Clint Eastwood has done lately, write his OWN music for his OWN films, you must remember, Barbra wrote the score and some background music for a few scenes for her movie NUTS and has always had enormous input in the way her own movies were scored (Yentl, the Way We Were, Prince of Tides A Star is Born, for instance ). Using her unique talents as a musician and writer, not only as the marvelous singer she is, would be FANTASTIC to see materialize not just in HOLLYWOOD but on the Broadway Stage ! PS Remember the song "Prisoner" from "the Eyes of Laura Mars" back in the 70's? Barbra had a real hit with this one, it was played on the radio very frequently !! Alot of film-makers are missing the boat by not involving her in their musical endeavors !!
