Just the other night, I was watching FUNNY GIRL on DVD.
I've seen it before-but decided to get it from the library.
Loved Babs in it.
I hoped James Brolin seen it. He'd love it.
Weird-as I was watch the final part of the movie-the final section of Fanny's story in
FUNNY GIRL, it was like seeing Babs as Fanny as a BLONDE Edith Piaf.
Fanny as least had a more happier life than Piaf-and Fanny WASN'T on drugs OR booze-but it was too uncanny to see Barbra ala Piaf.Hair style AND doing her FINAL number in the film.
And Barbra DID deserve her Oscar for that movie.
