William Ross Awarded 'Creative Emmy' For His Work On Streisand: Live In Concert 2006

SEPTEMBER 12, 2009, 7:41 pm

'Bill' Ross, who worked on Barbra's Los Angeles and New York Timeless Concerts in 2000, and more recently during the 2006 US/Canada Tour and 2007 Europe Tour, was awarded the Creative Emmy Award today for 'Outstanding Music Direction', for his work on the 2006 Concert which aired on CBS earlier this year.

I was fortunate enough to speak briefly with Bill Ross following Barbra's - October 20th Concert in Toronto 2006. I congratulated him on an amazing performance. It certainly was a once in a life time opportunity for me to hear and see Barbra perform live.

Congratulations on this wonderful musical accomplishment and the Emmy Award for "Outstanding Music Direction".
