Hello Barbra,
I just viewed your appearance with Larry King. Excellent!
I'm always amazed at how so many visionaries come to a place in their lives where they decide to immerse themselves totally into the alleviation of the world's maladies and ills. It's with a keen awareness, that you are awakening and drawing attention to the heart diseases that are afflicting and killing so many women in the world.
You're very accurate when you speak of clinical trials and studies that do not pertain to a woman's physical composition. The trial results, in my humble opinion, become bogus. My family has a history of heart disease. So this is very close to my heart, excuse the pun. I am very interested in the Barbra Streisand Woman's cardiovascular Research and Educational program via Cedars-Sinai Endowment.
Thank you so much ...for the heads up! I should like to donate and help in my small way. And it does take a village to create real change!
Im from Perú, and is explendid there are inspiring places where you can stay and sing, even if the place its not prepared like double windows in it as you said.
The Barn house is really beautifull, the inside color of your studio, you called grandma´s hands, is really really inspiring, maybe it brings you memories.
I´m always listening what you`re saying through interviews, and the combinations of what you remark is your book, finally.
Im glad everything we construct in life stays for being the vision of others to be construct.
Art nouveau lamps, furniture, carpets, curtains, everything we could match in to be combine at last in one word CLASS.
You have shown us the way to do it in your style, which is womderfull as a new sight and vision.
Congratulations Barbra
Hi Ms. Streisand.
I´m here writing to you from Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. It´s impossible don´t feel your emotion in everything you do, including this interview. A few months ago, I watched another one where you said: " Everything that comes from the heart goes to the heart." It´s one of the most important lessons I ever learned. Now, watching you talking about your father I understand from where this heart full of compassion came from.
Greetings from Brazil.
The last minute of this clip had me in happy tears. Ms. Streisand, you have transfigured your father's love of teaching and learning to many people throughout your brilliant career via your songs, your films, your activism and your humanitarianism. You have been with me since I was a gay, extremely shy and bulllied 16 year-old in rural Ohio. With your talents and the musicals of Rodgers & Hammerstien and Stephen Sondheim, I was able to use these things as a coping mechanism. I'm 38 now and I thank you for your artistry and love and my appreciation for all things beautiful. L'Chaim!
