I just finished watching your interview with Katie Couric and it was absolutely wonderful. As a nurse, I am alarmed that more women do not know of the danger of heart disease and I truly thank you for all of your hard work and support for this cause.

I also loved the funny and down-to-earth things that you said about yourself; it was truly a rare glimpse into your personal self. Thank you for that. I only wish, like so many of your fans, that you could know how touched we continue to be by your wonderful music.

I hope to see you in person one day - it's on my bucket list.

Wow! Barbra looks terrific. Eye-wink

I just saw The pre-view for The interview, tomorrow Katie couric show,And you said your son jason is singing with you on Brooklyn. I am so happy for you,i think i know that is for you The best you can wish for.you are very proud And you love him so much, everybody can feel it.you are filled with so much love, thanks BJS for everything.enjoy every moment, take it easy,And let The love in,you deserve it.

I loved your comments about hearing Jason sing. You talked about his hum and although Katie didn't mention it, of course, your hum is legendary, put to such good use so many times. And then, when you described the effect that Jason's voice had on you, I couldn't help but notice that the words you chose were so similar to what people said about you back in the early 1960s when you were in the process of making yourself known to the world.

And I don't think it was deliberate! I think you simply had a reaction to a voice that was eerily similar to the way others reacted to yours 50 years ago!

It's all really lovely...a beautiful idea coming full circle. The gift of your voice, coming down through the next generation is breathtaking.
