Mrs. Streisand, you have been a favorite of mine throughout my life. One of my favorite movies that I remember laughing SO hard and it is still a favorite of mine today is "What's Up, Doc". I was a kid when I first saw that and I just LOVE it.

Throughout the years you have shared with me through song and film your talents that I will forever love. I want to share with you my talents as a photographer. Please, if you will, view my website at www.prolookstudio.com

I have some VERY creative images that I am proud to share with everyone. I hope that you will share my website with your family, friends, and fans. If and when you might be in Kansas City, Missouri and would like to have some portraits created, it would be an HONOR to create beautiful portraits for you. You have shared your voice and talent with me... I would like to share mine with you.

Another one of my favorite movies of yours is "The Main Event". You and Ryan O'Neil work so good together in films. Someday in my lifetime, I would love to attend on of your concerts. I know, you don't care for performing live concerts and it is a rare treat for us, your fans, to be able to see you perform live. One day I hope I get that opportunity.

Thank you for sharing your talents with the world. You will always be one of my favorites!

An excellent statement from Lawrence O'Donnell.

It reminds me of the late, great, Senator from Minnesota, Paul Wellstone.

Mr. Wellstone also refused to be 'tar and feathered' with the 'shame on you, liberal' label from the Rush Limbaugh's and their type; and he urgently implored then President Clinton-

not to sign the heinous NAFTA trade deal (first introduced by Reagan and the Neo-Cons), and not to go along with their ideas of welfare reform, too.

Unfortunately, Mr. Clinton didn't listen to him, and 'caved' to the Republicans on these and other important issues.

Just recently my Congresswoman, Rosa DeLauro ( an excellent Liberal from the New Haven area, Ct.) implored President Obama not to sign the recent trade deals with South Korea, Columbia, and Panama (which every single Republican member of Congress supported).

Oh, how I wish he had listened to her.

There is a 'Stockholm Syndrome' that I believe has long since taken effect amongst Liberals and progressives; whereas, the right-wing pundits have tormented us so much that we've come sometimes to identify with them and their view of us as the 'bad guys'.

And thus, they can sometimes get us to 'cave' when instead we should stand up to them.

I'm glad to say that President Obama commitment to reform 'Reaganesque' style corporate tax loopholes in favor of a reform of our manufacturing base is a major improvement.

It could be an important step in our reforming really bad Reagan-era economic policies, and the Republicans' abuses of the idea of 'free trade' (the main reasons why we are in this recession, not liberal social programs);-

that is if we can stand up for it and not 'cave in'.

Thanks for listening.

I just heard the song "Alone in the World" from the What Matters Most album and I loved it. It's funny - I can hear ANY song of hers (even in a distant background) and I know it's her.......as the same with Chris Botti - so when I heard this song, I had to google to confirm if he was playing the trumpet solo in the background and he was. They both have such distinctives sounds!!

Barbra and Chris are my TWO favorite artists and I am so glad that they collaborated together for this song. I've seen Chris live and I would LOVE to see Barbra live one of these days. Smiling

I could listen to their music ALL day long!

Thank you, Barbra, for these well-said admonitions to the press (which has become a not-so-funny joke in recent years). A better name for Fox News would be, "Fox Propaganda."

Thank-you! Thank-you for putting the facts out there. Barbra your comments should have been on the front page of every newspaper that was in publication for today, Sunday February 5. There are some people who need a wake up call. We can't forget what was done in the past, but we can learn from the mistakes that the Republicans have made. We can't let them continue. There are some people who remember Newt Gingrich's apparent resignation. But they forgot about the circumstances, that led to the resignation.

P.S. It is good to hear directly from you. Keep putting the facts out there. I pray that all is well. Be Blessed.

As always, it is about the truth with Barbra. Thank you.

You may also recall that Newt Gingrich also said, when he was Speaker Of The House, that he wanted to see 'Medicare wither on the vine'. Now, after taking 25,000 a month from Freddie Mac for doing nothing, he wants to attack people less fortunate than himself for needing food stamps.

And that is just the tip of the iceberg. Newt Gingrich is really a nasty 'piece of work'.

G-d willing we keep him jobless, as far The White House is concerned.

I can somehow sense, Ms. Streisand, that you might be offended at my criticisms of you giving Bill Clinton a million dollars for the 'global warming' campaign.

I'm sorry if that should be the case.

I admit I don't understand the idolatry of Bill Clinton amongst Democrats, Liberals and Progressives: For whatever good the 1993 Deficit Reduction Act may have done, it was far outdone negatively by his signing the 'Reaganesque' NAFTA trade deal, our trade deal with China in favor of Sam Walton of Walmart (a right-wing Republican), and the repeal of the Glass-Steagall Act allowing for proper regulation of the banking industry.

Ms. Streisand, we have got to learn from Bill Clinton's mistakes, and commit to a Democratic leadership that will correct, and finally end bad 'Reaganomic' policies.

I'm glad to say that President Obama committed to doing just that in his last State Of The Union address, which addressed in strong terms our problems with trade with China, and the loss of our manufacturing base; truly major improvements for us, for all of us.

And he just might be able to keep Newt Gingrich at bay with that, let's hope.
