Barbra's 63rd album, "Love Is The Answer" has been certified Gold by the Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA), just months after debuting at #1 on the Billboard Charts. This brings the number of gold albums awarded to Barbra to 51. Additionally, Barbra is the recipient of 30 platinum albums and 13 multi-platinum albums.

Barbra, at age 70, I have fallen in love with a man I have not seen in 55 years. We went to our High School Prom together and were a couple for a few months-then life took us separate ways. We met up again on Facebook and will eventually meet in person again when we have the money. We live 2000 miles apart. I play your new CD every morning as I think of our love. I have large White Birch and Pine trees next to my apartment patio and everytime I turn your CD on, many different kinds of birds flock to the trees and sing their hearts out!! Even a Woodpecker. Although--he pecks his heart out!! Your music and singing is the most beautiful and restful music on this earth. You and your hubby are also the most beautiful and restful couple on this earth. Barbra, congrats on such a great album. I love the quartets version, as a matter or fact, it's the only version I listen to now...I know you like the big orchestras for your concerts and recordings but I gotta tell you, you don't need that...you never did. Keep up the great work

This and EVERY Barbra Streisand recording that has been acknowledged by the RIAA as being certified Gold or Platinum or Multi-Platinum deserve being celebrated and cherished in her catalog. How fortunate are we to be living at the same time as Miss Streisand, enjoying her musical art as it happens...and for some many decades? She is truly an inspiration to me and a fine example of one who communicates in song so perfectly. There is none better.

I knew your next album would go gold again. I just knew it. I'm so happy for you. Your next one will go gold as well, no doubt about it. No one will ever be able to top your wonderful voice or the talent you have blessed us with for so many years. Thank you for giving us another wonderful album.
