Starting Positive: Barbra is the best singer in the WORLD that I know of, and has been since she started singing! Her voice is as smooth as Butter! NO ONE comes close! I'm so GRATEFUL she decided to share her gift with us and pray she will keep doing so until she is no longer able.
Sorry but Negative: I would go to EXTREMES to see her in concert - a dream come true, the ONLY person I would pay hundreds of $s to see. However, it seems to be true what someone else posted on here that the average person can't get good seats to a concert (based on my first try), not even sure if premium seats were left. I prepared days in advance. However, I failed at getting tickets to the Vegas show, even at the VERY start of the Pre-Sale - No floor seats left and the best $565(ish) seats left were just OK. I can't pay to fly to Vegas & pay hundreds of $s for OK seats. PLEASE come to TEXAS and make the dreams of us Southerners come true!!!

Barbra Fanatic since childhood...
I wrote earlier mentioning how it was a lifelong dream to see Barbra since I was little listening to her on my bedroom floor with the headphones on. My favorite song was "Sam you made my pants to long" off "Color me Barbra" album. Well my husband surprised me VIP platinum floor seats to the Vegas show. I will be bringing my album that he gave me for my birthday in June hoping that I can get her to sign it. I can't wait to see her up close and personal let alone sing "LIVE." I can't wait!!!!!!!!!! I love you Barbra!!!!

PLEEEEASE add another night to the Hollywood Bowl!!!!!!! I saw the commercial this morning that tickets were going on sale today. I of course was all set up to buy at 10am - no luck- Not even single seats. My partner and I would LOVE to see you live- but I refuse to pay scalper prices.
This sounds like begging yes? You of course can say no. Lisa and I still love you, your movies and your music.

I am so excited that you are going on tour again, especially when you added a stop in northern California! I am however unable to attend due to the high cost of the tickets. I suspected it might be true but hoped otherwise.
I will always be a fan and will have to continue to receive my joy of your music from my collection of albums and movies.

I wanted to share that I wanted to much to see you in San Jose, but I can't afford the tickets. I am a displaced worker from the recession and I am a full time student at City College San Francisco, who is having its own accreditation issues at this time and is being threatened to be closed. Fortunately, I will graduate in December and I will be going over the Cal State EastBay hopefully.
There is one for those Romney folks!
It would be a dream come true to see you. Your words, work and continued fight behind the scenes for democracy for all is truly admirable. You have done so much and you pay taxes! Hopefully you will come this way again and I will have a job then and get good seats. I discovered you late in my life, during the late 1980's with Yentle. It is on my ipod and continues to inspire me with its beautiful, spiritual message of hope and love. Have a great show, not even sure if you read this stuff.

My Aunt is coming to see you in Vegas as a Christmas gift from her son. She raised us both on your music and it has gotten her through some of the worst times in her life. This is #1 on her bucket list. She is so darn excited she to afraid to stay in the MGM Grand as she said "I won't be able to sleep knowing Barbara is in the same hotel." It is 2 days later and she is still on such a high of excitement!
She has just sold her childhood vacation home and has gone through the heartbreak of the memories that she had stored in the attic. Then the day after her son buys her these tickets. Once again Barbara has saved the day.
I'm sure you've herd many fan stories and this may not seem different, but I assure you you would never meet a more humble, warming, and caring woman than my Aunt! I'm 40 and I cant remember there NOT ever being a Barbara song playing someplace in the house!!! lol

I'm a huge fan of you Barbra but seriously way to expensive!!! you do know that alot of us are living paycheck to paycheck and i am immensely disappointed when i heard you were going on tour i was extremely excited and i looked at the prices it stopped me cold.. seriously... i really want to see you in concert but not at the price do i personally think you are worth 700$ a ticket? yes but should you charge that? NO!! it's demeaning.. i love you Barbra but it breaks my heart i can't afford to go not even if i bought the nosebleed i wouldn't be able to hear you well due to the fact i'm hard of hearing and i wear hearing aids, yes the aids help a lot but not when i'm in the echo area which is what i call when i'm in a arena that's indoors.. BABS PLEASE RETHINK YOUR PRICINGS!!
