A First Look at "Little Fockers"

Fans will be thrilled to hear that "Little Fockers" will hit theaters this Christmas -- and here's a sneak peek at Barbra's role, as she returns as sex therapist Roz Focker.

By the way -- did the image remind you of a previous character that Barbra has played in the past?

As regards Nora Lacey's comments below, please do get a grip!

I personally am very happy that Ms. Streisand will once again be seen on the movie screen in a new film and that she continues to work (be it in music, film etc.).

So you go Barbra and viva Roz Focker!

You are F'ing GORGEOUS! I love you forever. You inspire us to full humanity.

Ms. Streisand/Mrs. Brolin

I'm not even sure how to express my gratitude to you; throughout my life you have provided countless hours of enjoyment and awe. In my eyes, you are the consumate
performer/entertainer/person and I have championed you for more years than I even care to admit. I even own what I believe to be your first recorded album, Pins & Needles as well as probably one of the few original 45's dating from 1968, Our Corner of the Night.

I have never written any celebrity prior to this but I do admit that I have long wanted to tell you what you have meant in my life. I do wish that you would do more films, but, I do understand how busy your life must be; suffice it to say that I am grateful for the music.

Thank you for being you, and again, thank you for giving me so much more than I could ever give to you. I'm eagerly awaiting 'Little Fockers'.

A most devoted fan,
Rob

How totally disgusting - you're capable of so much better than this trash.

Barbra, you are my goddess. Your beauty, your voice, all of the gifts that you have shared with my generation... We are truly blessed to have lived with your shared artistry. Thank you, and I thank God for you. amtripi

I think it would be such an excellent decision if you would undertake this role. By the looks of the samples of the script, it seems to be tailored made for you, Barbra. The fact that you are receiving offers to star in today's brand of comedy with today's brand of actors is incredible - not to mention the fact that today's young movie goers can be quite critical to "seasoned" actors. But I don't think you'll need to worry, you'd be AWESOME! What am I saying, you are!

On the serious side, it would be such a welcoming pleasure to see you behind the camera as well...."Normal Heart"? This project deserves you. HOWEVER, I've mentioned this project to a few freinds of mine and they were wondering if there'll be a backlash from it, since it's been out of the public eye for so long - meaning the issue of the epidemic. Would today's movie going audience go and pay to see this at the theater? I don't know. Not to say that it wouldn't be worth seeing. I'm sure it will.

In closing, whatever your future endeavors are Barbra, I'm most certain that you will make the right decision for you. And whatever decision that is, well, we will always be there to support it. But whatever it is, YOU NEED TO MAKE ANOTHER MOVIE, GIRL!!!

I'm only 14 but I'm so excited!!!!! I can't wait to see this!!!!! Ever since I found out that this movie was coming out, I've been waiting for trailers and pics, so these are great!!!! I'm such a HUGE fan of Barbra!!!!

Dear Barbra --
You have done so many wonderful things through-out your career -- I remember seeing Funny Girl 15 times in the movies at the Caribe Theater on Lincoln Road Miami Beach!
I cannot wait to see you on screen again -- too bad Dustin backed out -- as I think one of the major reasons Meet The Fockers was such an enormous hit was seeing you and Dustin -- you both were great! I've seen you twice in concert -- seems some of us just cannot get enough! I have the CD of the Normal Heart -- maybe one day it will be made the way you know it should -- one other thing I want to say -- how about you and John Travolta doing Sunset Boulevard? Just asking -- As always, Bruce-

I love Barbra Streisand. Her career in music, movies, and her activism for the people
has always been a mark of a courageous and talented women. Her position on the oil
spill in the Gulf is clear and powerful. It was the Republican administrations that let regulations go so that the big corporations like BP could save a few dollars and cause
a natural disaster of the first magnitude.

You know Barbra is effective when John McCain joked about her on Saturday Night Live.
He proceeded to pick a sad joke as his Vice President.

Thank you Barbra for the memories and for the future.

Barbra----- all these years later, you are still the greatest star, and i am looking forward to seeing this movie. your comedic talents have always been amazing. no more so than in "What's Up, Doc?", and i still can't understand why you have always trashed this movie, when it truly is the fun-est movie ever. it is a hoot from start to finish. "vocal revurberation under spinal pressure! you know-- VRUSP?!" "do you have a pencil, darling? 4-5-9 dirella street!"

i'm sure "Little Fockers" will be a box-office smash; but all these years later i still wish you had gone through and produced directed starred in "The Normal Heart." just as much as Fanny Brice and Katie Morosky, the role of Emma Brookner is one that only you can bring to life. This truly could have been the movie for you, the movie for gay men, the movie for America. but you chose not to do it, and this i will never understand. was it because of the money? you are the most-acclaimed artist in the world, for the past 50 years. there is nothing at all that you shouldn't be able to do. anyone could just mention your name, "Barbra Streisand," and everyone in earshot will gasp. you are America's living legend. after a lifetime of dreaming of it, we finally see and hear you in concert, and we weep with happiness. your musical career has been amazing, no one else can come close to you. best-selling albums in five consecutive decades, sold-out concerts. but your film career has been much-less stellar, even as you have said that you are "an actress who sings." Barbra, before it is too late, please do "The Normal Heart."

Unbelievable how little Barbra has changed. She simply has to return to STARRING in movies again. I refuse to accept that women of her generation are over with and no longer bankable; she is after all in a class by herself. C'mon Barbra, the clock is ticking!

I have to admit that the Fockers picture reminded me more of my all time favorite song from 'On A Clear Day You Can See Forever' - He isn't you ....
