I'm a big Barbra fan and I need help regarding an interview she did. I'm trying to find a particular quote from that interview that I tweeted last december but twitter is not displaying the said tweet (i tweeted it around december 1, tweets from dec. 13th onwards being shown) anyway, i think it was during oprah where she said this line (please correct it if completely wrong) "success does not change you, but emphasizes who you really are". i tried looking for it on google but couln't yield a match. thanks.

This was the best. I salute Barbra a million times. I did donate to Cedars on this website. I purchased the book and I intend to do a small rose garden in my yard. What really got me going is Robert Redford's comment about scenes that he remembered doing that were not part of the final cut. So I went to google and found deleted scenes from "The Way We Were". Barbra, Sidney and someone else gives commentary to these deleted scenes. Now I can really understand why she chose to direct. These scenes would have had a great impact on why they broke up. The very last scene in the movie, when the meet years had me in tears. All I could say is "Why". But this was only after watching the deleted scenes. I also read an article in the April/March 2011 AARP magazine. Bob (Robert Redford) is giving an interview and he mentions a future project that he will be qualified to do. It sounds like a sequel to me.

First off thank you for this beautiful site to allow your true fans to share; I love to see you on anything, but my favorite film is NUTS. You played that film so well I know I believed the character, which was appalled at the fact she was being put in jail over self defense. Even though it was a film this happens so much in today's judicial process, it is very disturbing. I actually know someone who went through the exact same thing. As life imitates art or art imitates life, we can truly look closely at the world of justice through a piece which was so correct in its purpose; we must stand to make sure the system does not do this to just anyone, at anytime, and anywhere...TRUTH!

Fabulous hour! Was good to see Ms Streisand relaxed and looking happy. Beautiful homes, property, landscaping and of course the dog whom I presume has her humans wrapped around her 4 paws Smiling . The rose garden is absolutely stunning!

I need to buy the book now and happily have the money go to Cedars for womens CV research and education. I hope to see the standard of CV treatment protocals for women change in the very near future in the United States due to this research. I worked in the ER and for years we saw that many women have different symptoms than men do when having the same type of cardiovascular event and wondered why diagnostic testing and treatment protocals had not been changed for women. We too found there was little to no research happening in this area until recently.
Great things are happening for womens CV health today. Lives are being changed and saved through education, diagnostics and treatment specific to women and will continue to be many many years into the future because of this endowment available to fund continuing research.

This is a huge opportunity for women to help women and also participate in their own CV health and prevention.
I propose we all get behind this endowment and research and contribute in some way to help save more womens lives. Spring has arrived once again and with it brings renewal, spring cleaning and garage sale season - a great way to raise money. Instead of giving items away sell them and donate some or all of the procedes to the endowment Smiling

Thank you Ms. Streisand, for doing this for all women .
.
Warm Regards,

Oh yes I saw the lovely and gifted Barbra on Oprah today. So great! Love love love her.
She gave us a tour of her beautiful home and mentioned how she loved barns. I could not resist a possible opportunity to share with her, should she read this entry, my husbbands song about barns. I believe she would love it. His web site is davidgoodmusic.com. There you can listen to a sample of the Barn song or of each song on his CD as well as purchase a CD. or visit i tunes under David Good to download the Barn Song for $.99.

Hope you like it...Enjoy.
Cheers,
Nancy, his wife!
This is my first time ever to join a celebrity web site....hummm lets see what happens.

Love the photos of your basement. What a fabulous idea! I'd love to do something similar to mine only instead of shops, I'd have holiday themed rooms. If you ever want another project, I'd give you carte blanche over my small town midwest home and yard. Just say the word and the house could be yours to decorate. Smiling
Have a great day!
