Dozens and dozens of Paramount Pictures stars from the past gathered on the famous lot today for a once in a lifetime group photograph. The occasion was the 100th anniversary of the studio. Stars from The Godfather–like Robert DeNiro, James Caan, and Al Pacino, as well as director Francis Ford Coppola–were joined by famous types like Barbra Streisand, Shirley Maclaine, director Peter Bogdanovich, Harrison Ford, Steven Spielberg, Tom Hanks, Nicole Kidman, plus Martin Scorsese, Gore Verbinski, Tom Cruise, and Charlize Theron.Read more »

From today, Barbra will be joining 11 other celebrities who are competing to win a $25,000 prize for their chosen charity. In Barbra's case –the beneficiary of the contest is the Women’s Heart Center at Cedars Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles.

Last October, Barbra launched an online fundraising campaign to raise $5 million to benefit The Barbra Streisand Women’s Cardiovascular Research and Education Program. On Thursday night, in a rare performance, Barbra took to the stage to lend her voice at the “Friends of the Israel Defense Forces” Gala at The Hyatt Regency Century Plaza Hotel in Los Angeles.

We would like to congratulate Barbra for receiving two Grammy Nominations for her most recent studio album "What Matters Most - Barbra Streisand Sings The Lyrics Of Alan And Marilyn Bergman".

Barbra's album received nominations in the "Best Traditional Pop Vocal Album" and "Best Instrumental Arrangement Accompanying Vocalist(s)" categories.

The 54th Grammy Awards will be held on February 12, 2012 at the Staples Center in Los Angeles.

Barbra will be honored with the L'Oréal Paris Legend Award at the 18th Annual Elle Women in Hollywood Celebration on October 17th. Other honorees include actresses Jennifer Aniston, Frieda Pinto and Evan Rachel Wood, as well as DreamWorks CEO Stacey Snider. Emerging actress Elizabeth Olsen will receive the Calvin Klein Collection Emerging Star Spotlight Award.

Barbra will be featured on the cover of November's Elle magazine, on newsstands October 17th.
