2013: NEW POLICIES & PROCEDURES
Since its inception in 1986, The Streisand Foundation has made grants totaling over 25 million dollars to more than 800 organizations working to build a healthier and more just world. The Streisand Foundation remains strong and committed to this mission.
In an effort to maintain this commitment, the Foundation recently completed a strategic review to determine the future direction of its grant-making and administrative procedures.
Although we wish we could support all of the worthy requests that come into our office, the overwhelming number of proposals that we receive and the finite amount of funding available make this impossible.
In order to respect the value of the time and human resources of prospective grantees, as well as the limitations of the Foundation, we are changing our administrative process. Going forward, we will not accept unsolicited letters of inquiry or proposals. We apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused during this transition period. Should we be interested in further pursuing your efforts, we will be in touch.
