Dear Barbra,
I just got home from church this Sunday afternoon and "Funny Girl" was on. I haven't seen it in at least 20 years, I was reminded of how magical you were, and are. I wanted to express my love for you, as a performer, as THE most wonderful singer. I always wanted to sing like you, I would sing along with all your albums through college, through my life as a singer in bands in L. A. in the 80's, through my kids years as babies...now almost all grown and out of the house.
I once was in a beauty shop getting my hair cut and you walked in. My hair dresser saw my face and threatened me with my life if I dared approach you. so I want to approach you now and thank you for touching me, inspiring me as a singer( now director of music for my church and a voice teacher for the last 14 years.)
