Watched the show last night and it was GREAT, couldn't take our eyes of the TV, Johnathan did a good job, but Barbra you made it so easy for him, it was so interesting and funny too, at times, especially the dogs !!! I got texts from all my friends who had watched the show and thought it was outstanding. Comments like " This will go down in history "., were flowing back and forth. text to text after the show was over.
Barbra's voice was on the money and left us feeling emotionally overwhelmed. Such a thrill to hear her singing live in the UK.
Come back soon Barbra, we all know you are a home bird but just once a year would be great.
Thank You for giving us so much pleasure through the years, I became a fan after seeing Funny Girl [24 times], and have all the music put out in the UK and I have a friend in Texas who sends me the US ones. The DVD of the concerts is wonderful and gets played at least once a week ! So Thank You for the music Barbra., and of course it goes without saying the films too.

FANTASTIC, FANTASTIC, FANTASTIC NEWS What a treat for Barbra's Fans here in the UK, I don't know how the BBC got her to agree to this but it is the best news I have heard all year. Please don't let Johnathan Ross mess it up !!!!
As we here in the UK were not allowed to bid for her tickets to the New York Concert I will gladly accept this as second best.
I am awaiting the delivery of her new Double Album "Love is the Answer" this week, which I pre ordered as soon as Amazon announced that it would be available for us this week 29/9/09.
Can't wait for your appearance Barbra, and Oct 2 is my friends birthday so I know she will be glued to the programme too.
