Not only are you an incredible singer and actress, you are also an incredible, well-informed student of current events and you possess the ability to see through everything as if through a microscope, to see the right and wrong, truth and lies in what captures your attention, what is important to you, what is important to this country that you love so obviously much.

You are the greatest-ever American. your career is now 50 years going, and no end in sight, and i only wish that it could go on for another 50 years. you are the quintessential rags-to-riches success story, a nothing-special young girl from brooklyn, who goes on to become the very greatest singer ever. Barbra, every song you have ever sung has been awesome, every note you have ever sung has been amazing.
