Hello! I totally agree with Ms. Streisand. I will be fifty years old soon and am still a bit of a flowerchild. A fraction of our younger society has become embittered due to many things, but I must remember our musical rebellions of the sixties. My parents hated my music then and would escape to listen to Sinatra and Tony Bennett. Their recordings have lasted all these years and people return to them over and over again. I adore you Ms. Streisand and I still listen to "Lost Inside of You" every week! I love the soundtrack from "A Star is Born." I applaud women like yourself, Shirley Horn, Lisa Gerrard and the few remaining true artists who desire to continue in keeping melody and lyric respectable and appreciated. I am actually a bit overwhelmed with today's music; with so many genres to choose from, where does one begin to find that truly authentic voice? So many are clamoring for attention. I give you and your family my fondest regards Ms. Streisand. Hashem bless you in all you do.
