I just got done watching some of the former members of the military support Trump before he gave his five second admission that President Obama was born in the U.S. He gave more time to promoting his hotel than his admission and didn’t answer any questions. A great move for his supporters but once again portraying what a coward he truly is, let alone a pathological liar.
What I wish the media would mention besides confronting Trump on his past behavior and promoting the birther issue, is that a large percentage of the former high ranking officers standing behind him segue from their military careers into working for the plethora of military industrial contractors that reap billions every year, while also bathing in cost overruns. So naturally, these individuals love when then hear Trump talking about increasing the military budget. Are they really for Trump or are they really looking forward to lining their pockets with taxpayer money more than they have in the past. This is certainly an issue I would love to see explored by the media. How creditable are their political endorsements? I always remember what President Eisenhower warned us about the military industrial complex.
