I bought this CD on Saturday (26 Sep) here in Sydney and have been playing it ever since.

This is the album I have wanted Barbra to make for YEARS. I have played early Barbra over & over listening to the crystal clarity of a GIRL'S voice at the Bon Soir and so on. But what I have longed for is the mature, woman's voice doing the jazz and torch-song classics, uninhibited by over-orchestration, swelling violins and all that stuff that sometimes get a BIT too much.Read more »
