It’s curious that while the Proposition 8 was being declared unconstitutional in California, I was holding a heated argument with one of my older brothers in Spain because he said something peyoratory about gays that angered me and made me come to tears.

No members of my family or friends is gay, so I analyzed my over-reaction and discovered that my pain was caused for the deception of realizing that my dear brother was not as smart and good as I always had believed.

As a result I have learned that the discriminators are the ones who deserve pity

Fortunately five year ago same-sex marriage was approved in Spain and now I hope you also get the approbation of the law.
