I'm not going to comment on the Kramer vs. Barbra stuff. I am going to "The Normal Heart " on May 19th in New York !!
Quite excited to see this play after so many years of the film percolating as a possible film directed by Miss Streisand. I was happy to notice that Barbra hasn't closed the door on playing Dr. Emma Brookner in the Ryan Murphy film. Now, that would be a very sweet professional outcome !! -

Greed.
Simple greed is the root of all of the recent disasters facing this amazing country. The sustainability of our planet should be a common goal for all governments to recognize and protect with all reasonable oversights. As the Gulf Oil Spill continues, politicians cling to their partisan views while the clock is ticking away. Where is the national will to change from a society of full time consumers to a nation ready to face the truth? Where is the urgency to begin the process of converting to clean energy -- to provide new jobs for an industry in upheaval?Tovább »

Interestingly, as Barbra was introducing Dr. Merz, I was visiting my dear mother in the hospital who has been dealing with serious heart issues including, congestive heart failure. For the past year, I have been my mom's primary caregiver. Learning to care for an elderly person with limitations is an awesome responsibility and an enlightening experience. My mom is better today and resting here at home. She's got me, her kitties and is surrounded by the things that remind her -- she is loved.Tovább »
