I'm a fan (and you should be too) because... Barbra is a shining light and inspiration for people who want to achieve in the face of adversity. I became to know about Barbra after watching The Mirror has two Faces but I quickly fell in love with this woman. I'm a 28 year old male from Liverpool, UK. I find whenever I mention I'm a fan and that I have been to a Streisand concert the first question is 'are you gay?'. Well no I'm not but I adore Barbra. Barbra has given me the motivation with her speeches, films and music to achieve. I was raised in an under-privileged town and I was bullied for having an interest in acting and creativity and not going down the typical male path of sports. Unfortunately I am yet to be 'discovered' but Barbra I know 'Something's coming and it's gonna' be great..!' I hope you never stop amazing people with your focus and determination to empower people and make them realise that they can make their dreams come true. I wish you love, peace and happiness and hope maybe one day we can share a cup of tea and a bowl of Liverpool Scouse which I know you would love with fresh bread and butter.
