Re: Barbra Streisand: The Way I Am

When I was in the Army stationed overseas in Germany, Armed forces Radio
Played Barbara Streisands recordings and thaat was in 1959. According to her
bio, she didn't record until the 60"s. Somethings is wrong with statistics in her
biography.

Re: Barbra Streisand: The Way I Am

Thank you for your service and kindness it was much appreciated. In addition to my gratitude, I would like to share with you a story Kelly Ann Walz. Kelly Ann Walz of Ross Township, PA, has been the victim of an unfortunate accident. Walz and her husband kept a pet black bear, and while cleaning the enclosure that housed the bear, it attacked her and she died from her injuries. The bear was put down. Fatalities from bear attacks are typically fewer than 10 in North America per year. (Lightning kills almost 100 people per year in the United States alone.) People are warned against keeping exotic pets, especially larger carnivores, for a reason. Let's hope the family of Kelly Ann Walz can find some peace, and the rest of you – please use quick cash to get a pet like a dog.

my all time favourite

FOR EVERY MOOD I AM IN, I WANT TO LISTEN TO BARBRA STREISAND. SHE IS MY FAVOURITE SINGER AND THE BEST SINGER IN THE WHOLE WORLD IN MY OPINION. EXCELLENT SONG WRITER, EXCELLENT, EXCELLENT - WHAT A BLESSING THE LORD HAS BESTOWED UPON MISS BARBRA. I CANT GET ENOUGH OG HER MUSIB , I TELL YOU. MY NINE YEAR OLD DAUGHTER FEELS THE SAME WAY, TRUST ME!!

I LOVE HER SO
SHE IS MY FAVOURITE.

Wonderful career insights, warm conversation and great songs!

I am really impressed with both Paul and Barbra. This is an extraordinary insightful interview with Barbra Streisand interwoven beautifully with new and old songs.

Paul really brings out the best in Barbra who is so comfortable and chock full of new and exciting insights to her storied career. She is articulate, knowledgeable, confident, humorous and down to earth. Best interview in years with lots of NEW information.

A rare glimpse into the real genius of Barbra Streisand. A very intelligent woman who not only knows her craft but also has a great respect for fellow talented artists and mentions many by name!

Thanks for the link. I wish that everyone could hear this amazing insightful and loving interview. Maybe one day it will make it as an audio bonus on a BJS DVD or CD.

PS - Barbra: If writing an autobiography seems tedious why not do an audio biography with Paul Gambaccini's s help. He really knows his craft, as do you and he brings out the best in you.

Great interview with a lot of

Great interview with a lot of insight into how Barbra works! One disappointing scoop, however, was hearing that Barbra passed twice on SUNSET BOULEVARD and its current script incarnation doesn’t seem to interest her.
