Barbra's new CD "Love Is The Answer" is a revelation. Her interpretation of classics like "Make Someone Happy" and "Smoke Gets In Your Eyes" benefit greatly from Barbra's mature vocals, and her control and quiet attack of some of these songs bring goosebumps. For me, the standout among standouts is the positively haunting "If You Go Away" (Ne Me Quitte Pas), by Jacques Brel and Rod McKuen.Read more »

A great article, full of compelling insight. Barbra Streisand is without a doubt the most incredible performer. Without a lot of "flash' and gimmickry, Barbra cuts straight thru to the heart of a song, and in doing so, she cuts straight thru to the listeners' heart. She is innately talented, yet always vulnerable - and the audience gets that with every song, and every note of every song. I'm betting that each "cut" on the new album is a 'masterclass' on the art of singing...the art of surviving...the art of the impossible.Read more »

Fantastic News!! I can't wait to see the whole performance. The clips that we've seen were glorious indeed. Hope there's a little backstage stuff & an interview w/Barbra included too.
