Julien’s Auctions to offer property from the Collection of Barbra Streisand, the multi-award-winning international star, in a live and online auction at The Beverly Hilton in Beverly Hills, Calif. on October 17th and 18th.
All proceeds from this auction will benefit the Streisand Foundation, founded more than two decades ago by Barbra Streisand the actress/singer/director/composer/activist/philanthropist to aid humanitarian causes worldwide.

I truly wish I could be in California to attend the auction this weekend. Those of you who plan to attend are fortunate, indeed. I'm a South Carolina girl. At the moment I'm watching Funny Girl and thumbing through items for the auction.
Ms. Streisand has been an entertainment inspiration to me since I was around 10 - 12 years old back in the early 60's. She possesses one of the greatest God-given talents in the world, and now that I'm watching her on the screen at the present time, she seems to stand still in time, not aging like the rest of us. As you can see, I am a HUGE fan.

I attended the auction preview...nothing particularly interesting, but I will likely attend the auction, may buy something or may just nose around to see who buys what for how much...should be entertaining, at least..

I attended the auction preview...t'will be interesting to see how many people attend the auction as the preview was very sparcely attended. There was nothing there very exciting. I will however attend the auction tomorrow, may buy something, may not, or may just nose around to see who buys what for how much....it's interesting and somewhat entertaining, if nothing else....
