I was listening to your music tonight ...preparing for the holiday coming up...first of all...shana tova...may it be a sweet, wonderful, healthy & happy year for you & yours. As I reflected this evening listening to your music, I realized how very lucky I am. I told my husband years ago you were the one person I wanted to see live in concert...and we did it...we made it to your Vegas re-debut New Years weekend. I thought tonight also of my friend who I attended 2 of your concerts with...1986 Vegas and then again in 2000 (?) in LA...she passed away unexpectedly a few short weeks after your LA concert...we sat in approx. the 8th Row together and shared that moment ..which I will always cherish. And then with my Mom attending your San Jose CA concert...mom always wanting to see you...she too gone now 7 years...we also watched your concert on TV right before she passed. While this sounds sad...it's not...everytime I hear your voice, your songs, your gift...I think of the gifts you offered me in sharing those moments with these very special people in my life, first my husband and then my mom and my friend....who I will continue to remember and hold dear...THANK YOU... for everytime I hear you sing I feel close to them again. I look forward to seeing the concert streamed on line...perhaps again someday I'll have the privilege of seeing you in person.
I didn't win, but thank you soooo much for streaming the concert. When I was younger, I couldn't afford a ticket. Now that I'm older, I probably could have swung it. I pray one day you do one more tour. Your the best, no one compares.
Thank you for all that you do and have done to make the world a better place. Your voice can certainly change a gray day. I wonder why you are auctioning off all of your things. I have been thinking though, there is a certain kind of freedom in it.
Just a couple more days and I could have posted the world's most cutest dog. We got a puppy a few days after the contest ended. She is a Morkie to go along with her big sister the Maltese.

Instead of complaining and whining, be grateful that this amazing lady is still giving millions of people ( me included ) a lifetime of wonderful music and still more to come. The club is a small intimate room - how incredible it will be just knowing that Barbra is headlining in a nightclub again LOL I bet no fortune teller in the world could have predicted this!

Oh that's wonderful!! I'm very excited this will be put online! I wasn't able to win tickets to the real thing, but this the best it'll get! I'm a 15 year old from New York, and because of my age, I wasn't lucky enough to even have an opportunity to ever see Barbra live for any reason. I'm definately not your average teenager, but I'm proud to be a Barbra fan none the less! I love you Barbra!
Hey people, Everyone one of us would love to be at the Vanguard but if you've never been there you wouldn't know how truly small it is. It's amazing that Barbra is even doing this at this point in her career. She could have easily filmed at a studio stage with fake patrons and reshot songs to perfect them. Instead she's going out on a limb (again ... like she always does) and doing it live before 100 lucky fans. Focus on the fact that it will be streamlined. It's not as if she can magically make the vanguard bigger and give out another 1,000 tickets. Appreciate the intimacy factor of this appearance - if it were shown on a jumbo screen at a stadium it would be like another tour date. Let Barbra have her 'return to her roots' moment.
HELLO GORGEOUS - this Sounds GREAT but why not do a live feed to a larger venue and sell tickets for your charity? Many of us New Yorkers will pay and the foundation benefits also - win win all around PLEASE think about it

Speaking of which...if there happens to be a last-minute cancellation (among the winning ticket-holders) I'm available!!! Or if someone's date cancels out. Or if Barbra realises that 101 is a luckier number (think "dalmations')...LOL. I'm just sayin'...
