Barbra's New Look
Let's talk about the photography. Barbra has always worked with the best in the business. Her look is a part of her appeal.
I love it - the eyebrow is up again. Right where it belongs. She looks happy and the golden glow is working to turn back the clock. I will dare to say she looks 45.

You are right absolutely, she looks happy and with herself contented. A well-balanced Barbra! And she sees really much more recently than than she is, she looks simply great!!!!

She looks great. The coloring, background, and lighting are perfect. She just seems to get better and better. Sat in the front row at her Chicago concert and I must say she looked even better in person.

I've always loved when Mrs. B smiles. Hated all the shots and covers when she's not smiling--looks too sad (although we're all allowed sad times, etc).
Anyho, Mrs. B LOOKS RADIANT on the LITA album cover. I've said it in other posts...I feel LITA is going to be big and I think Mrs. B and DK will possibly tour in smaller venues and bring the magic of jazz into the main, mainstream...like Mrs. B has done in the past with:
Dance duets (think Donna S);
Broadway tunes (think Broadway Album);
Pop duets (think BG and ND); and
Movie themes (too many to list here, you know the ones!)

Very soothing colors. Leave it to Barbra to make sure everything matches, the colors to the music, the eyes to the clothes, background, etc. You guys know what I'm talking about.

theres a pic on Matt Howes site of Diane and Barbra together arm in arm, her hair is longer and not curled under, now i dont think the pic is edited like the cover and Barbra looks really like 45.

Absolutely, BEAUTIFUL! Love the blues. With her eyes, she should wear blue all the time! I also love the shade of blond. I think it's new too. She looks so great, I really wish we were also seeing her in front of the big screen too!!!
The picture looks fabulous in every detail!
It's also nice to see that she´s finally wearing some colour. In almost every album cover photo since The Broadway Album, she has worn black or dark outfits.
Like someone once sang: "I´ve wanted the shadows, I don´t any more..."

Love the new cover, the blue really makes her eyes pop. She looks absolutely gorgeous, as always.
She looks absolutely fab. The cover has to be one of her best. She is a goddess, and I cant wait for her cd. I have my bottle of wine picked out, so I can sit back and enjoy every second of her beautifull voice, and gaze into those beautifull eyes of hers.

And I really wish the best of luck for those who enterred the different contests to attend the Vangard performance. I'm shure that it will be one of her most unforgettable performance. Barbra in a club !!!

This cover is also one of my top favorites! Absolutely beautiful! She looked unbelievably young! Also I love the other picture that she leans to her left, her face is closer to the camera... She just look so stunning!
She looks happy, I don't like the seventies and eighties photos of her looking angry like on Til I Loved You.
To Barbra's mom who told her that she "wasn't pretty enough" to be a star, how very wrong she was. To me Barbra has always been beautiful and her eyes are stunning. She just keeps looking better all the time. I think her happiness partly must have to do with her husband as she has looked much happier in photos ever since. She remains #1 in my book and a superstar unlike any other. My only regret lies in not being there to see her in person on Saturday. Yes, I would love to see her return to the big screen as well.

I'm not too keen on the cover and the other photos. I find it way to photoshopped. Other than that - the pose, the colours are lovely. It's the post-production I don't really like. I wish they had gone with the somewhat "stripped down" idea of the quartet versions and left it more natural. I'm a photographer - Barbra, hire me next time
