I have recently run out of benefits and I am getting zero response from my resume and experience in the design field. I'm not sure what is coming next and it is a very scary prospect. All the blogs and websites devoted to this unemployment crisis are filled with horror stories about hard working Americans losing everything. The media and the government seem to be turning a blind eye to this crisis. Millions will be out of benefits in a few months! Maybe the great depression is still coming, at least for people over 45 suffering from rampant agism in the hiring processes. This no pain no gain philosophy just allows people to feel righteous about doing nothing and helping no one.
