Why I'm a Fan
I'm a fan (and you should be too) because...I am a true lover of beautiful music and fine vocals. Barbra has a way of transporting me to other places when I hear her sing. You can actually hear that she is feeling what she is singing-this is very rare among singers. I am a huge fan because of the songs she chooses, the arrangements, and of course her exquisite voice. I find myself listening to her more than any other singer. How strange that someone you don't know can give you so much pleasure-oh the wonders of this age of audio and video. Re: Love Is The Answer
Well I finially had some time today to sit quietly and listen to Barbra's new album. I chose to listen to it with my parents because I know how much they love her choice of songs as I do. Along with such masterful arrangements and orchestrations, listening to this album was absolutely delicious elegance and pure pleasure for the senses. My father cried, I'm not sure why, but they were tears of joy and my mother bent over him and kissed him. We continued to sit and listen enjoying every note of exquisite excellence.Read more »
