Patterson, bert67, and 'the blue angel' all said it particularly well...I want to reiterate a lot of their sentiments: I, too, think this is a seminal work from La Belle Barbra! It is in a league with "The Broadway Album," "Guilty," and her BIG EIGHT LP's at the beginning of her legendary career (which culminated in "Je m'appelle Barbra" - to which this new recording bears an uncanny resemblance on several tracks, not just the exquisitely rendered 'Ne Me Quitte Pas").Read more »
