I love every Barbra Streisand album, but this one is particularly in my heart because it is a sort of live session . In addition the arrangements are quite jazzy and the orchestration different from any previous album that B. has realized. The combination of such a great arranger like Krall and the extraordinary voice and talent of Barbra make this album a real jewel. I appreciated the french part of 'Ne Me Quitte Pas' and I must say that Barbra has a wonderful way to give her interpretation in the french repertoire... Jacques Brel would surely love this wonderful touch...
