Barbra - from your #1 Texas fan, let me say this - I never, ever thought you would ever top "A Love Like Ours". It was clear from the first time I listened to that CD that that was the very best you had ever done, or would ever do - until Tuesday, August 23! With the big band on "Nice and Easy", to Chris Botti on "Alone In The World", and then just completely destroying me with "The Same Hello, The Same Goodbye" - damn!Read more »

How wonderful it would be to see Barbra for the third time, and lucky enough to win a ticket to this historic event! As a 30 year fan of the Great Barbra, and lucky enough to attend 'The Concert' in Anahein in July 1994, and 'Live In Concert' in November 2006 at Staples Center, Los Angeles, one could only be so fortunate again to see her perform where she started, in the clubs in New York. If I don't see you in New York in September 2009, I'm hoping that you'll do one more Vegas appearance so I can finally bring my wife and kids (previous concert events were each gifts from them).Read more »

Barbra - I've loved you for almost 40 years, been a dedicated fan for as long, and have seen you 3 times in concert (most recently in Brooklyn at the last show). Yet I sometimes wish that you would not make EVERYTHING about political party. There is enough bitter partisanship to go around, courtesy of our elected leaders in both parties, that prevent important objectives from getting done within our government, and those with platforms such as yours sometimes only seems to add fuel to the fire in the arena of said partisanship.Read more »
