Biography of Barbra
Hello,
I'm new to this forum, but a fan of the divine Barbra since at least 30 years or more. Now I'm desperately searching for a good and not too old biography of her. It's very difficult to find one here in Germany. Can you recommend certain titles? And maybe with a hint where to get them?

I personally like "The Barbra Streisand Scrapbook" by Allison J Waldman. I got mine from amazon.com used. (was hard to find new).
It is all about her career and has dates and everything, for people like me who have CRS. (can't remember stuff!- that's the nice term.)
It simply states the facts, in chronological order, etc.
It also has some really, really rare and beautiful pictures of Barba in it, some of my favorites. (and you guys know how I love my pictures of Barbra, I think i'm up to 1200 on my HD and 1,667 on my cellphone!)
I have read others- but I think the others are kind of self serving, because it makes the author look good but you never really know Barbra's side of the story, or what the truth might be. It's like hearing from only one side of someone in court, kinda weird. I know people change over the years so I don't know...
My most favorite one will be the one she writes herself oneday maybe? Then I can try to put all those other sides with hers and maybe ascertain what the truth was.
Some of the stuff I have read from "experts", I really find hard to believe- but that's just my opinion. You can do a search on amazon or something- a bunch of them come up. Happy Hunting!
