Barbra honoured as MusiCares Person of the Year, Feb 11 (she'll perform!)
Great news today from Hollywood Reporter:
"Herbie Hancock, Barry Manilow, Donna Summer, Diana Krall, Tony Bennett and Stevie Wonder are among the artists who will pay tribute to 2011 MusiCares Person of the Year Barbra Streisand. The cast of the hit show Glee, including Lea Michele, Matthew Morrison and Darren Criss, will also take part in the celebration. Streisand will close out the evening with her own performance.
The annual event, now in its 21st year, has honored many of the music industry's most esteemed artists, including Bono, Neil Diamond and, most recently, Neil Young. Proceeds from the annual Person of the Year tribute go towards providing essential support for MusiCares, which ensures that music people have a place to turn in times of financial, medical and personal need.
The dinner and silent auction will take place at the Los Angeles Convention Center on Friday, February 11, two days before the Grammy Awards are handed out at neighboring Staples Center. For more info, go to www.musicares.com."

just havent heart, that this show won't be taped for TV - WHAT A SHAME!
I hope she doesn't end with Somwhere or another that is tried and true. How about something like "I Believe" from Timeless? I think that would be awesome.
Love,
Chip
I think she is long overdue for this award...I just really hate that it is not being televis
ed...but I will be watching the Grammys..and I just want her to win so bad..you know she predicted this 24 years ago when she won her last Grammy, that maybe 24 years later, she would be nominated again..and it happenend...24 is definitely Barbra lucky number...I will be sitting on pins and needles hoping that she wins...she really does deserve it...This is a great cd and I love it....Good luck to you Barbra....a very devoted fan...Denine Hester
If anybody knows how to contact Barbra, please ask her to duet with
Donna Summer and sing "No More Tears, Enough is Enough".
