Well, thanks to everyone who put this together. It is fantastic! It sure is nice to finally hear and see the whole show. It sounds so much better on the DVD then coming through the wall in the bathroom at the pizza place next store or trying to sneak a peek at the show coming from the truck parked out front sending the live closed-circuit feed. It was wonderful to be there to share the experience even without a ticket.
It's another "one night" of moments in my life I will never forget. I wish I could
stay in those moments forever!
I'd like to thank Sarah Jessica Parker for standing in for me. I hope you liked your front row seat, as that's been my seat in the past. So grateful for that! Thank you Sarah for cheering, the look of admiration on your face, and your tears. It was all I would have done and more. I'd also like to thank Marty for his kindness and the little kiss on my cheek. It means a lot. So Marty, when are we going to talk? Do I need to bring my own $50 bucks? How about we do lunch and I'll pay?
To Marilyn and Alan it was so nice to see you again. Thanks Marilyn for being so sweet to me. Thanks also to Jimmy and his wife it was such a pleasure to meet you both. Thanks to my shop owner friend for feeding me Chinese food and my umbrella. Thanks to all the other Barbra fans for sharing your experiences and love of Barbra. Thanks to Mike for the rest of the great experiences that weekend especially the stay at the Waldorf.
And last but not least, much gratitude to Barbra, you really have shaped my entire life and I realize more every day how many wonderful things you have taught me. I think most importantly that love truly is the answer. Thank you for giving me your love and receiving mine for you. I hope we get to say “Hello” again soon. Barbra you sure do know how to “make someone happy” and I am so glad that someone is me. Congratulations again on your five decades of number one’s in a row.
I know what your next “first” will be. I am ready when you are….
