Okay everyone, we've all been crossing our fingers hoping Barbra will tour again! Here is something I found that we can all cling to with hope(was that too dramatic?)
Barbra Streisand Turns Down Massive Vegas Payday
Barbra Streisand obviously doesn't need much money thanks to her ridiculously successful career, but to hear that she turned down a $100 million Las Vegas contract ... that takes some chutzpah! The songstress was apparently offered a Celine-like gig for three years on the Strip, but ditched it to do what she does best -- a normal tour. You go, Babs!
Las Vegas sources tell me that Barbra Streisand has turned down what would have been one of the biggest deal in showbiz history -- over $100 million to perform for three years on the Vegas strip.
"After Celine Dion left Vegas, no one has been able to replace her. Bette Milder failed, Cher is trying, only Barbra is guarenteed to succeed," an insider tells me. "She's an international star and the only performer in the World that would make people flock to Vegas year after year."
Still, sources tell me the superstar has decided to pass on the mind-blowing deal.
"Money has never been a deciding factor in her career. She plans on touring again this summer instead," said a friend.
A loss for Vegas-bound Streisand fans ... but a win for Cirque Du Soleil and other competing shows on the Strip!

So whadya think? Dare we hope?! I've only been a fan for a few years, and never had the chance to see her perform! So I sooooooooo hope this is true!!

I read this report today, made me laugh when they said Bette Midler failed, I heard it was a roaring success, although Bette has endured similar press attacks like Barbra, so I would not believe that, however some confirmation about a possible tour would be great, I would be more shocked if Barbra agreed to go back to Vegas (because, rememebr she has already headlined a residency in Vegas)
Oh let us hope and pray for another tour! I have never seen my favorite star singer live though I have been following her since the 70s. Madison Square Garden was just too big for me--which is one plug for a Las Vegas (which I detest) venue. If she comes back to her town and MSG I swear I will go this time! Love, love that goddess of song! And as a voice teacher in NYC, all of my students from 10 to 70 years old listen to her and learn from her--along with Julie Andrews and The Sound of Music movie! Namaste Streisand fans!

I would love to be able to see you in concert, the greatest and most gorgeous singer ever. I was one of the lucky ones who had been able to get tickets to your concert in Stockholm, Sweden, a few years ago. Sadly the concert was cancelled and I was never able to experience you live.
Dear Barbra, if you ever have another Europe tour again, PLEASE consider Oslo, Norway. I can guarantee you a beautiful country, friendly people, and many, many Norwegian fans who will be thrilled to see you.

Barbra would NEVER agree to a three year deal--at any price. No doubt the span of those 3 years would probably be less than 100 performances at the Garden Arena I presume.
Remember, she enjoys "staying home and working in the garden. :-)"
Still, it would be magical to have one more opportunity for a live performance--perhaps another say . . .10 city tour. And Barbra, I know Texas is and always has been with a few glowing exceptions--a Red state.
There is no question in my mind if you played our AA Arena here you would sell out quickly. Plus, it would PO Perry, & the Bushes. LOL
Just give it some thought. That is all I ask.
